So Im working nightshift and noticed that metalcloak has a 25% off sale today (apr 11)

Ive got a Diesel Gladiator on the Teraflex base 3.5 kit, with geo correction brackets, falcon 3.3's and HD diesel springs. (no control arms) so im thinking about adding the shiny gold control arms at the current sale price...

I had originally thought about doing the teraflex extended travel kit after a while as an upgrade but the cost is quite a bit more than what the metalcloaks are currently offered at...

Is anyone running a combo lift similar to this?

looking for opinions / advice, Im sure i would have to run a new driveshaft to go with the new control arms. would a guy need coil spring retainers or anything else im missing?

25% applies to Ram products. For Jeep products it is 10% off.

You shouldn’t need a new drive shaft as the control arms will just correct any geometry issues that you have. Really shouldn’t need anything more than the control arms.

Are you buying a full kit just to use the arms? It would be more cost effective and you'd get better performance just buying the long arm upgrade if you're happy with your current shocks and springs. Obviously you could just do the dual rate to gamechanger arm upgrade too. Personally I'd never run a JT without the triangulated 4 link rear after adding the rock krawler kit to mine. Even with stock front control arms with drop brackets and stock rear lowers is by far the best riding and handling jeep we've owned... and it's number 17 over the years so there's quite a bit of experience with different set ups.

They have the option to purchase just the F/ R mid length control arms, I was thinking about making the upgrade from stock to those for better flex etc.

I was not thinking about the longarm kit, but I wouldn't be opposed to it after my warranty is up.
thanks for the reply, its got me thinking haha

I did a Frankenstein lift. 3.5" coils from Clayton. Control arms from Core. Geo brackets from Teraflex like you. If you get new adjustable control arms. You have to run the stock length for both upper and lower in the front with the geo brackets. You won't need a new front drive shaft until you're over 4" of lift and using long travel front shocks. Did you install a rear drive shaft spacer? If not, you should. I installed a Rock Jock on my JT. Also, if going over 4" of lift. You will need longer brake lines.
