How would you handle this exhaust hole?

Found out I have a hole in my suitcase muffler while changing out the transfer case fluid what would you do? Looks like something punctured it. I’m thinking about a delete of the muffler. Pros cons with that setup?

Leave the muffler and the hole. The hole is there by design, it allows water to drain from the exhaust system.
Oh didn’t realize that was from the factory. Thanks for the heads up. Mods feel free to close this thread.

Right - ALL mufflers have weep holes. If it's plugged the condensation from combustion (and the cats) builds up and rots them from the inside-out

Well, this was my first 'question' and reason for joining the forum! I have 'leaks' in both mufflers and though they look stock, I wondered!

That is a pressure release for condensation.
Mine has it as well

That looks like a weep hole to let out condensation that's a byproduct of combustion. Every muffler I've seen has at least one weep hole somewhere.

Well it's either a suitcase or a muffler. Can't be both. Kinda like soy bacon! It doesn't exist.
A. Bacon is pork
B. Soy is not pork.
C. A muffler is exactly that
D. A suitcase carries your necessities while traveling.
😂👍🤔
