Izzy III……..

The original Izzy build (92 Wrangler Islander / Izzy for Islander) was totaled in an accident. Bought it back from the insurance company.
Izzy II - (94 Wrangler) Swapped all the parts over from Izzy…. Sold it about 15 years ago. I miss that thing!!

We were Jeepless for years until we bought the 2024 Mojave last year.

Izzy III…… Won’t be the built rig like the others, but a fun-as-hell rig we love!
Oh….One of these days, Izzy III will officially be named.
Graphics have been cut….just need time to polish the ceramic coating off so this shit will stick.

Well, to tell the story I have to start with my old 13 JKU. I named it Banshee. Mainly because of my Celtic heritage, but also because the “moaning” sound of the tires and the loud rock music always “wailing” from inside.

After trading the JKU for the JT, I kept with the Celtic theme. In lore, the Bodach is related to the Banshee. He’s kinda like the Boogey Man, however the name more literally translates to “mean old man”, which is how my wife has always referred to me when she speaks to the dogs.

I always called my Jeep JK "Jeepy". I bought a used '21 Gecko Green JT a few months ago and I was told by my wife I couldn't just call it "Jeepy" as well. So she ended up naming my new JT "Laddie", which is short for G-"ladi"-ator. Plus it's green and Laddie is very much an Irish term.
