So with your mods I would skip the Pritchett run. It’s been pretty much eroded to be only for purpose built trail rigs for at least 10-12 years. I differ on Steel Bender. It will be demanding but we’ve never had an issue with a decent lift and tires on anyone we’ve brought there. The trick is you need a good spotter. I luckily have my wife who most everyone we wheel with asks for help :). A hotel is a must that time of year and gives you a chance to hit some good food, get clean, and stay cool. Hit Pasta Jays and Milts. Have a great time. Common sense is your best friend.
Well said. I agree.

We always eat at the Sunset Grill up on the hill a few times when we are in Moab.

Since food is a topic Antica Forma has good Woodford pizza that is quick and tasty. For BBQ Spitfire Smokehouse & Taps.
Haven’t eaten there, but will now next time. Thanks.

I've had my Gladiator on Steel Bender, Metal Masher and lead Poison Spider for EJS on Sunday. For a "mild" built Gladiator like yours, (mine is built similar and I spend at least 20+ days per year in/around Moab) I draw the line at Poison Spider, Metal Masher, Golden Spike, Steel Bender etc. I do not do Cliff Hanger/Behind the Rocks and Pritchett in my JT. (I'll do that in my "CJ" though).

You can do those other trails but you'll be working you and your rig pretty good.

I'm all for not heading to Moab from June-Sept. You should be warm, possibly hot. I like to get off the trail before 1-2 pm if I'm in the area between June-Sept.

Hope you have a great time! Stay on the trail, enjoy the area and wave if you come through Salt Lake (not likely)

For food:

Deweys
Gilibertos (cheap tacos and Mexican corn are my thing there)
Susies Branding Iron
The Trailhead

are my "go to". Open to other places but those seem to be my "normal".

If you DO want to camp, theres plenty of FCFS sites in the La Sal mountains (east of Moab and west of Monticello) that will be a lot cooler temps at night because of the elevation. Some of the sites can be some fun roads (nothing difficult, just good views).

I'll be there on Saturday for the RR4W Trail of the Month. Swing on down :D (bit of a trip for you--I'm missing a Buick event in Bowling Green, KY so I understand WV is not that close) We'll eat afterwards

So I changed/upgraded my set up quite a bit since posting this. Added Metalcloak Undercloak system, changed my lift from Mopar to Metalcloak 2.5" GC, MC Diff skids, RSE sliders with additional armor, and its at the shop now getting 5.13s put in it. I also have JCR rear inner fenders that will be here this week and going to split the rear factory flares.

RSE sliders installed(Mopar lift in this pic)

Also we listened to the warnings of camping in late June and got an Airbnb for like 40% off split 4 ways brings it to like $300 each so not too bad! Oh and it has a garage to store top and doors and access to a pool!

It’s going to be night and day. I can’t wait for you to feel those 5.13’s crawling.
