I have been Wal-Marted...
Walmart giveth and Walmart taketh away. I've saved a few bucks using Walmart's pharmacy. A couple days ago a fine, upstanding Walmart patron decided that my Gladiator was in their way and broke off the passenger rear fender. The fender came half way off but the contact point could be easily buffed out. No problem, I'll just push the fender back in place. It objected to that and left a gap in the front. I took it to Jeep and asked if the could pop it back into place. I'm so naive. The clips were broke... The clips are not an available part... The clips and plastic tabs are attached to the fender...
Yes, I know that I could buy a take-off. Yes, I know that JK clips can be modified to be used on the JT. Yes, I know that the dealership charges four times what I could do it for myself. I'm not complaining. I had this coming. It's the Carlos Curse. Just before this happened, I posted the picture below on the JL forum in response to Benny telling someone that the clips for a panel are not sold separately.
The Carlos Curse then sought $900 justice. The Tavares has been satisfied.
