While not a formal Jeep Source - this guy has been spot-on with many of his announcements in regards to Stellantis, Jeep and Mopar.

a plug-n-play retrofit 5.7 HEMI from Mopar would be my ultimate Christmas Wish 🤠

So widely appealing?
Define "Widely Appealing" given the pricing on the 392 Wrangler? Jeep - Stellantis focus is on selling vehicles to a projected market segment population. Yes they can, when projected profitability indicates; produce & offer specialty models.

I was going to post this as a follow up. He did mention that it appears the 392
(final edition ?)will be coming first which is slighly disappointing because the 5.7 is what is really needed for general public. I am looking for forward 2026 to be the year i get my 4th and last gladiator for this generation. I hope they really amp up the options this year like gearing 4:56/4:88,4WD auto, engine choices. I want a Amereica250th freedom editon style trim(wishlist) in Bikini or hoping a gold type color which is rumored for the Ram in 2026

I don't care if the 6.4 Hemi is only a $2,500 option, I DON'T WANT IT. At $25,000 extra, it's laughable. I have no interest in single digit mpgs ever again in my life. I am interested in fuel economy every bit as much as performance.

Here we go again with the ever moving goal post 🙄
Getting a HEMI or getting the HEMI 5.7? He did speculate end of 2026 for the 5.7 HEMI in one of his original videos on the subject but if the 6.4 HEMI comes first end of 2026, still better than nothing.

The 392 Gladiator is awesome for raw power, but its very low MPG makes it more of a collector's item . For most, the 5.7L HEMI offers a better balance of performance and cost.

The 5.7L would likely come with eTorque, which helps with low-end torque and efficiency, but some folks prefer a simpler setup. Some people will not be happy about this as well.

The good news is, more engine options are on the horizon. With the 4xe already here, and HEMI rumors along with potential new powertrains for the next-gen Gladiator, it looks like Jeep is finally giving buyers choices they've been asking for.At least toying with the idea of giving us somethig lol

Wouldn't suck having more choices. Don't like V8s? Don't buy one.
I remember in the 70s people dropping V8s into old Willys jeeps, then destroying the rest of the drivetrain piece by piece as it couldn't handle the extra power. Wonder how this will work out.

Most def will need more frame enforcements and heavy duty suspension componets. I would add a bed frame enforcement like they sell from shift auto.
