After rolling 55K+ and still running factory brakes and upgrading to 37" tires for the last 2 months (ran 35's from 0 miles to just under 55K), its probably time to upgrade the brakes. Their still fine, but I have noticed over the last couple weeks a slight decrease in braking distance which is to be expected with the larger tires.
I've read the pros and mostly cons on vented and crossed drilled rotors etc. If I'm gonna spend money on new rotors and pads, what is the best route? Factory rotors and pads? Z36 performance rotors and pads?
Are the big name kits worth the $ thousands spent like Baer, APB, Powerstop, Willwood, Teraflex, etc over just replacing rotors and pads from Mopar?
