Picture? What picture? I wasn’t referencing any picture…. I have no clue what picture you’re talking about.

C’mon man… Seriously??? Is there anyone on this forum that doesn’t know the difference?
You have been referencing EVs when the 4xe has been in this thread.
You started talking EV right after the pic of the 4xe drivetrain.

And yes, there are people not really aware of the difference between EV, PHEV and hybrid.
At least 3 times people have referred to range, lack of charging and so on for the 4xe. Range is as far as a tank of gas will take you, and you don't have to plug it in if you don't want to. Some don't.
Yup - answered questions on that just this last weekend. You'd be surprised. One even had driven a 4xe recently.

Dude…. I think you’re getting me mixed up with someone else.

I do like me some Bee Gees though.
Ya got me there.
I think I even have a couple of EP mixes from the likes of Pseudo Echo and T'Pau

No issues here - some of the cheapest and most plentiful electricity - we even export it to other states.

That picture wasn't an EV - it was a HYBRID. HUGE difference. They've been around a long time.
I wish we had that here in MD. As is we import around 40% of our power and Annapolis keeps forcing the gas/coal/oil generators to shut down to save the environment with no replacements online to make up for lost capacity. Net result is our rates keep rocketing up while the politicians wring their hands and walk around like Costanza acting like they're doing something. Our average electric bill is hovering around $400-500 with a 1400 square foot house.

That's fine, but.........
- please - NO DISCO and no leisure suits!
You're only saying that because your wife finally convinced you to get rid of your leisure suits last year. It's ok, Bill. You can admit it. This is a safe space.

Ouch! Mine is maybe $200-$300 on 2500 square feet.
That's not bad. I can see that for that many square feet.

We have under half that much square footage, but it's an older house, and the finished basement where my wife does a lot of sewing and quilting is all old-style fluorescent lighting. The main level is 950 sq ft, a small sun room, then the finished basement.

I also have to include a 30x36 shop building with a minisplit for AC in the summer and some heat in the winter.
So for our size house, we blow right past all comparables for energy usage, but....... we're retired and here most of the time. (I think MidAmerican tries to shame us with those quarterly reports)

Move to Indiana. $164/month for electric and gas combined for a 12-month budget in a 2,400 sq ft house. We have a hybrid….er, or is it an EV….oh wait I think it’s really a golf cart…I’ll have to check…artificially inflating the electric cost.

I should add - two freezers, two refrigerators (and a small one in my shop), the plating tank heaters and pumps, air compressor, well pump, and the fact we are retired so home using things a lot more than others.
(running off and on during a typical day - long-arm quilting machine, embroidery machine, sewing machine)

Comparing kWh used each month, and the cost per, would be interesting.

Our costs are about $1.19 in the winter, about $1.80 in the summer as of a year ago.

Hurricane for me - but since I just traded - this may be the last Jeep I ever own (but if I could swing it in the future, it might be tempting - I love I6s)
