Success. Can't wait to get this thing out on some washboards, but train tracks at 75mph are silky smooth. Well worth the $800 I spent. Far and away the smoothest riding Jeep I've ever been in.

The triangulated 4 link makes the thing so planted in the dirt. You can still get it to drift, but it definitely takes a lot more throttle and steering angle. It just wants to hook and go. Head toss is non-existent now. This is how the mojave should have come from the factory. Taking advantage of this weekends deals and ordering metalcloak 3.5" springs and their high steer kit. With the added weight of the winch up front it gets into the front bumps too quick so on to the next round of mods.

How are you liking the mud hogs? I am looking at the 39s on 17s for my 23 and I know you have experience with both in 37 and 39. Thanks!

Both are wearing well. The 39s seem to actually hold balance better than the 37s. No complaints from either. The 39s have just under 20k on them and the 37s are at 25k. They still have plenty of tread left.

Ok good deal - I am going to stuff the 39 on a 17x10 vision wheel on a 2 inch level. I am going for that stuffed look on my rig. I am only seeing a E rated Mug Hog - is that what you have as well?

Yes. At 25psi cold they ride fine on road.

Mine is still stock with the exception of speaker upgrades. Which to me is a default for any vehicle I own no matter how "Premium" the stock system is.

New set of kanati mud hogs going on the truck right now. At 30k miles the 1st set didn't want to balance so it was time. The C rated 37x12.50r17s are out now so I'm dropping 5lbs per tire in the process.

Did you regear, and if so, to what?

Nope, still rocking the 4.10s. 4.56s would be better but the cost is too high to justify the small change. Still gets to the speed limiter in the desert quicker than any of my passengers ever like...

68lbs vs the E rated 73lbs. Didn't feel any different in the short drive I took yesterday. Roadtrip to our AZ property will be the real test drive next week. 540 miles of freeway and 15 miles of washboard dirt road.
