good because my wife was digging heals about tenting again ... and asking wasn't this (the JT ) supposed to tow our underused buggy ..... (buggy is in a rehaB status needs stickys and a new winch ... her fault she taught me girl math)
Jay, a little worthless trivia for you, if i may. about half a lifetime ago i was in Paris on vacation. a very popular "suv" there was named the Santana. it was the European version of the Samurai. i remember that due to the funny U.S. commercials at the time for the Samurai that had a voice over saying "hi" and a person waving. like i said, worthless trivia.

I officially have to bow out of this one. My sons bday is the 30th and school starts that same week and we have decided to hold his bday party on the 26th prior to the start of school and to allow more family and friends the opportunity to join us that day. Maybe next year...

Well the drive back from OBX to MD yesterday was a hoot. My JTM decided it wanted to finally identify as a Jeep and death wobble its ass on all of the shitty expansion points from NC to VA on Route 64.

Thankfully I have the Fox 2.0 ATS. I got out on the side of 295 in VA and I adjusted it to its stiffest setting and then cut over to 301/3 and rode that the rest of the way home with no more issues. Added an hour to the trip, but the wifey was not freaking out. BTW sudden death wobble at 70+ mph in the fast lane is an experience. I have checked that block and now out into the garage to start further adjustments and finally installing my MC steering box to track bar brace; I have already installed the MC sector shaft brace.......hopefully this will rectify the issue.

Glad to hear nothing bad happened. I only experienced the wobble once and it actually turned out to be a broken belt inside one of my front tires.

I ordered the 11/16" drill bit and new M18 1/2" Milwaukee drill so I can get this new reinforcement bracket in.

I hope you got a reduced shank bit, your 3/16” too big for a 1/2” chuck. Good luck I hope that is the problem…..Jack

Should we come up with an itinerary of sorts, or just wing it?
Sorry, guys, I’m way behind the group on updates. I’ve been up every day at 5;30 doing school and the 4th of July week & weekend was full on firefighting/EMS busy time. My Gladiator has all the same recovery gear and a high lift. Hopefully we don’t need anything but always good to be prepared.
