Mine has the weathertech roll up. It lives outside in extreme UV and seems to hold up fine. I can drive through the carwash and the bed stays dry.

Those do look nice. Would raise the value of my truck too much though!roll n lock m series xt
Easier than the MOPAR?I have the roll n lock m series xt on my JT. I’ve had soft covers, tri fold hard covers, and camper shells on various trucks. The roll and lock is hands down the most useful cover I’ve ever used. It offers security, seals good, and most importantly is by far the easiest to use daily of any cover I’ve had. It’s expensive but trust me it’s great.
It’s pretty darn easy…the cartridge area is smaller than you think. Of course I do have a 3/4 ton pickup also…so hauling stuff goes to the Cummins.Easier than the MOPAR?
The covers on my last two locked as well thanks to an inexpensive latch I put on using parts from Amazon.
Can you flip up the last section to carry long items leaving the rest of the cover in place?
I like the small roll or "cartridge" area compared to most others, but in my use, my case - and PERSONALLY - the side rails would be problematic for me. Not knocking it, likely be fine for many others. It’s pretty darn easy…the cartridge area is smaller than you think. Of course I do have a 3/4 ton pickup also…so hauling stuff goes to the Cummins.

It’s aluminum. It’s pretty easy to remove also I took it off for the bedliner. I really like it.I like the small roll or "cartridge" area compared to most others, but in my use, my case - and PERSONALLY - the side rails would be problematic for me. Not knocking it, likely be fine for many others.
Just that in my use cases, and with a truck tent - roll up, 2 screws, the whole thing is off as if it was never there.
If you didn't use it like that, then it wouldn't matter.
Is the actual top material a vinyl or aluminum? Just curious. That should be pretty secure as far as tops go.
I've been through 2 BAK Revolvers and loved them, but both have lasted only a couple of years. This most recent one was my fault: I tried to close it over a standing propane tank and it separated a joint. From there the glue started giving way, particularly on hot days. It's held together with gorilla tape now until I can find the right replacement.
I target shoot weekly and like to keep paper and cardboard IPSC targets in the back and would prefer something that keeps the bed reasonably dry over almost other feature. The BAK was pretty good in that department, but if I knew heavy rains were coming, I'd move all of my targets inside. A "gully washer" or the car wash always got a puddle back there. I don't need it to stay bone dry. It's not as if I'm trying to protect blueprints or anything; targets get holes punched in them and thrown away but too much moisture does warp them.
I actually just ordered one yesterday and installed it this morning. For $200, which is significantly less than the others I've seen. I am happy to here it's holding up well.I picked up a cheapo Tyger, which I don't even think was made for the Gladiator.
A roll up.
It's been on the OVERLORD since late 2019, no leaks, no issues, and surprisingly, still looks good.
I never expected it to last this long.
I can dig up the part number if you like.
