I actually just ordered one yesterday and installed it this morning. For $200, which is significantly less than the others I've seen. I am happy to here it's holding up well.

I ordered one yesterday too. If it only lasts as long as the BAK Revolver, it will have been worth the money. I might upgrade it down the road if the tri fold annoys me or hinders me being able to load an appliance or something. But seeing as I can't open my current top at all at the moment, I needed something right away and funds have been tight since hurricane Helene cost me a small fortune in repairs and destroyed property. The Roll n Lock was the clubhouse leader after some research, and that might well be what I ultimately wind up with. I decided that the responsible thing is to get through the year (surely without another tree falling or flood) and buying it when I have the money laying around.

I'll post up pictures both here and in my build thread when it comes in.

I had a Diamondback on my Tacoma; loved it. I felt that items were way more secure locked in the bed than in the cab and they're rated for loads. I have a topper camper on the Gladiator but I wouldn't hesitate to get another Diamondback.

For over 10 years and two Dodge Dakotas I had great year-around luck with a soft LUND
tonneau, never a leak until a freak hail storm finally made a puncture. That led to a switch
to a cap which made me appreciate all that dry space and I could even sleep back there.
Currently I have a 2020 Gladiator and my choice was for a Weather Tech Alloy cover. Yes
it's a tri-fold which is sometimes not ideal but overall I'm very happy with it and would do
it over again if I needed to. In my research at the time (2020) the WeatherTech could support
the most weight, more than the MoPar tonneau even. Also it comes in two versions as I
recall, one for Glads with the rail system and those without.

Tyger Auto T1 Soft Roll-up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Compatible with 2020-2025 Jeep Gladiator JT | 5' (60") Bed | TG-BC1J9060.

I've had one on mine for about 10 months now, no complaints. Dry as a bone on a 2,000-mile trip with real mid-west "gully-washer" storms. Got it on Amazon for about $200.

I’ve had a couple Bakflips over the years. Hard Tri-fold.
I had one on my 2016 Canyon. It was still in great shape after 8 years when I traded the truck in for the JT. The only thing I did, was add some silicon on the rubber at the back.

My current JT has a Bakflip G2…. Much lighter weight than the previous version. No leaks…..no issues. I can take the entire top off (if needed) to use the entire bed.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the weathertech tonneau is fantastic. Going on 2.5 years now, still like new and keeps everything dry.

I recently went all in and replaced a tri folder vinyl cover with a Diamondbacks, no comparison whatsoever. Expensive yes, but not only weather/water tight but incredibly secure when locked up. My biggest regret itvthat I should have looked harder at their new trifold aluminum cover, much less expensive and arguably might fit my needs better. Im hoping to go on a long BDR trip in sept and plan to sleep under mine with some additions for length

I have the DiamondBack SE on my Gladiator. The only thing I can complain a out is, it's not the black version and it's not the HD version. The HD version is rated at 1600 pounds vs 400 pounds for the SE.
I found it locally used, so I really can't complain. It came with some rack and rail pieces from Yakima and Front Runner. I got a smoking deal.
This is my second one. The first was on a 2500 Ram, it was the side load ATV version. Loved it and knew I was gonna get one for the Gladiator.

I had the thought several years ago of an incorporated tent canvas enclosure to close in the rear panel when up and the tailgate. I did call them and suggested (requested?) they look into it, but obviously they didn't see the marketing need.

I thought about the tent idea and had talked to DB but as you mentioned they didn't have much interest. I did see a guy who made triangular side panels and a rear flat panel that fit in with the rear deck open. They were filled with bug netting but for an f150 so I'll have to modify it as I'll have to leave my tailgate down. Then a tarp/awning off the back of the deck for weather protection.... well see how it all goes...

You could always go with an SUV tent. Something like this. https://a.co/d/7ed5POr

Or a canopy tent like this. https://a.co/d/dZ3eCGZ
