Will these work on a '25 Gladiator with the Spiderweb shade installed? They use those bolts as well?

You just don’t use the two screws required for the handle for the shade and you can fasten those straps elsewhere.

We have the hot heads shade on our Wrangler that attaches the same way. We have the roof off a lot with our handles and the shade.

Really would like to have them in the back as well!

We used to have a 21, but we swapped it out for our 24 Grand Cherokee for development of other products.

The 24+ Gladiators with the airbags have the exact same sport bar as the current 24+ Wrangler, which we currently own as a shop car.

If I remember correctly, the pre- refreshed Gladiators do not have the lower mounting points for the handle like the newer ones do in the rear.

If the demand is there for our product in the rear seats of the pre-24 models, we could absolutely look into a mounting system. We need to see what the sport bar looks like, and probably get our hands on one in the shop for a bit!

Our bracket has more surface contact area with the sport bar and is rigidly secured using OE-threaded mounting points. This is means less movement or shifting under pulling force, reducing shear and tension on the screws themselves.

Mopar’s flexible bracket allows a levering motion when users grab the handle, increasing torque load on the threaded screw. This becomes a fatigue point.


The Cross Terrain handle is stronger not just because the bracket is thicker and better steel, but because the bracket is engineered to distribute force more efficiently, reduce stress on the mounting screws, and stay rigid under pressure.

the spacing seemed to be about the same as the front, but that was just eye-balling it. I will take a tape measure to it. And try and get better pictures Tomorrow.

According to the specs we had, they are not the same in the rear, but if the measurement is very similar to what the new ones are, they may actually work.

The front and rear spacing between the screws are different on the JL, but they are fairly close. So they don’t need to be the exact same as the front seats. They just need to be very similar to be rear distance between the two points on the JL.

Therefore, if you can show us the placement and the measurement, we can check and we might even have someone on here try one of our preproduction prototypes if it’s very close.
