Those nuts press in place and maybe get a peened crimp from the other side if you're lucky, they're definitely not welded. They would've held up much better if they actually used real weld nuts instead.Agreed, I'll be reaching out to them. If those nuts had been installed on the other side of the plate they would have been in compression against the plate rather than tension. Also if the fusion had been more thorough they would have not popped.
