My dude, it’s such a shit show trying to get this registered in CA

Having to go back and forth with California Highway Patrol and the DMV to prove it’s not a European model, but a no-shit US one.

- The lady who inspected it, noted it was a US built model (via the vin and such).
- All paperwork says it’s a US spec model.
- My insurance and prior registration in Europe says it’s a US spec model.

DMV says “doesn’t matter, it has to be inspected by CHP cause it came from OS.” The CHP officer said “if it’s a US model built in the US with all required items, it’s not required.” So now I go back to the DMV again to see how they’ll argue it 🫠

We went to the Madonna Inn in San Louis Obispo here in the Central Valley and they sure do love their pink hahaha so we had to get a pic of Calypso there.

The place was super cool and fun to walk around, but the breakfast was pricey and mediocre. We need to go back for lunch or dinner

Nice enough for doors off weather in the Central Coast of Cali (it’s honestly been nice all week, I should’ve been running with the doors off lol)

I wanted tot take the back doors off too but my kids have trashed the back seats and floor and I haven’t cleaned all the stuck crap out of the crevices and such yet someday.
