Do you think there is any benefit regarding the trim buckling if the bracket was about 5mm longer? We are working on a new bracket for some of the older pre-airbag Wranglers with a slight trim variation and that mounting point requires a bit longer reach into the trim to align.The front and rear have a very similar drop when installed. and rear feels as solid as the front. I would think a spacer/shim to prevent the trim from compressing would eliminate the gap. Maybe a longer screw might be needed with the shim.
