Does the gate come off when in the rear position? That would be nice for hauling a longer load

So it comes with upper and lower slider shelfs? Can it be ordered without those, if all we want is the locking/rotating enclosure?

Has anyone reviewed it yet or have any experience with this? I have their EZ flip tops & they are excellent but these are double the price of other bed extenders without the fold down tailgate. Just don’t know if it is worth the extra $$

The shelves are an add on that can be ordered separately and are completely removable!
