I'm in the process of planning a trip to KY to drive the DBBB. I was planning for March but the other drive and I decided the weather wouldn't be the best. It'll still be cold at night and the increasing chance of rain, increasing the water levels.

Anyone know the condition of the trail and water levels in early/mid June?

They have an annual event/ride coming up in May (maybe 5/15). I think this year, they're showcasing an expanded route that some groups local to the area have been working on clearing.

I think the algorithm pushes these videos hard starting around late Feb. I'm just trying to avoid crowds...and hydro locking my JT.
