Especially, with them announcing that the next gen is being shared with the new Dakota, so very likely IFS.

Who knows what will actually happen, but they probably don’t like all of the ground they are losing to Bronco. They’re barely holding on outselling them and losing more ground every year.

I'd probably still keep it in my shopping list even with IFS (depending on a long list of other things we dont even know about).

But the steering on the SFA can't even survive 35K miles on paved roads without shit wearing out on 33s, so I cant imagine the IFS could be worse.

I get that some folks use case is different though and that SFA is desired. I wheeled my JK a lot and the SFA was definitely nice for that niche.

I've beaten my Mojave pretty hard... 27k... other than Jeep not bothering to tighten the Pitman nut at the factory no issues yet. What's been a problem part for you?

Trashed the drag link so far. Everything was torqued to spec (checked), just wore out the ball ends. I have another noise I need to investigate. May or may not be another front end component.

To be clear, Im not advocating for Jeep to go IFS, and im not saying I wouldn't buy another SFA truck (though I have no need to anymore, so theres that...).

Just an observation.

Now also to be clear the area I live in has some of the worst paved roads ive ever seen in my life - and ive been to 22 states or so 😬

My drag link was replaced under warranty. I’m starting to get a low speed clunk again and I suspect it’s the same thing.

Mine lasted just long enough to become my problem. As stuff dies im just replacing it with Metalcloak one ton stuff 😂 What i dont have in big tires we make up for on bad roads.
