Hi all -

Visiting here from the JLwranglerforums and thought I'd post here to get more eyes on it. I'm looking for a D44 to replace my bent D30. Either a D44 from a Sport or a Rubicon. If anyone is upgrading or knows of anyone selling let me know. :)

For a second there I was wondering if I was on the wrong forum. 🤣
Are you still looking for a Rubi axle with the additional upgrades needed or sticking with the Sport D44 for a simpler upgrade?
Either way I hope you find it soon so you can get back on the trail.

Ha yeah I'm just visiting.

Kind of open to all options at this point. If I could find a Sport with 4.88s then I'd just need to add the locker. With the Rubi it may be more money upfront but would need to wire up the locker in it and remove my air line. Or maybe find something with 4.10s and just re-gear both of my axles to 5.13. Undecided at this point.

Exercising all the options til you find the one that fits. 👍

Yes still looking.
I have front and back from 2021 Sport (3:73) back has minor oil seep at axle seal. They have approximately 10k miles. Complete with rotors and calipers. $1k. I’m in the ie Beaumont, for pickup only.

1k for both? How much for just the front? And what is the width? Are they the narrow 66.5" axles?

Thought I had answered this but I don’t see anything. Must have got sidetracked. I’ll take 1k for the front and let you have the back. They are the narrow, from a Sport, axles. Have Bora wheel spacers that will make them wide axles.

Late to replying to this. I sold the Jeep this week.

I have a Goin Out of Jeepin' Sale thread going on over at the jlwranglerforums if anyone in the area wants to check it out. I'm still going through my garage and listing things as I find them.

Yeah Cleghorn really did it in. And not even the chute. 🤣

You will probably see it up in Big Bear in the future once the new owner buys and installs an axle for it.
Will you be sticking with the brand? I’ve enjoyed the few outings we’ve had together, hate to see you get a downgrade like a Bronco or something 😂
