Doesnt help, mine told me they wont even look at it until atleast Aug when Jeep projects to maybe have a "fix".
Im swinging by after my oil change to see what they say. Betting they’ll be saying the same thing. I’m in the area so it’s not an extra trip into town.

Dealer here said there won’t be a remedy until close to the end of the year. Pretty much echos what everyone else has said. Lady there said if it gives me any problems in the mean time just bring it in and they’ll take a look.

Dealership is overflowing with gladiators and wranglers though. Barley got into a parking spot and was nut to butt with a MOAB wrangler sitting on the sidewalk.

Yep. No idea what happens if it does and it’s related to a specific recall that’s been documented and announced and they aren’t prepared to remedy. If there is any kind of resolution it probably won’t be available until they release a V8 Gladiator anyway.

If mine burns down I will just go buy a AMW 5.7 Adventure Series.

In order for me to do this I’d have to park closer to the house, the house would have to burn down, they’d have to pay me out for the house and property, I’d have to move out of state or to a county that doesn’t smog, and then get the Jeep. Before any of that I’d have to win a case against Jeep. I’d be using a walker trying to climb into a lifted Gladiator before it all was concluded. Do keep in mind that during all this I’d have a wife in my ear about how her precious 4Runner burned down too. It ain’t worth it.

I drove a 4R the other day and I forgot how archaic it was. I would rather have a Gladiator.

Look at the bright side, you could move to Canada, not be smog tested and me as a neighbour!

Retired. Finally !!
Just imagine how happy we'd all be if Jeep didn't say anything until they had a fix ready. LOL

My plan is; if they release a fix in say, August, I ain't jumping on it. I'm not going to be at the dealership that morning jumping and turning in tiny circles saying, "Me !! Me !! Me !!". I'm gonna wait until December or January when they are at Rev. 3 of the repair plan. In true automotive fashion, repair versions 1 and 2 will be all sorts of jacked up trying to "push out the fix". I can wait until it's well sorted.

I hope my Gladiator agrees.... (we really need a jeep with flames emoji)
