Sorry if I got you excited... I have no news on order banks or when they will open. I do however have some questions for some seasoned Jeep owners. So as I have read when purchasing a new Jeep (I have only had used wranglers up to this point) you should walk away from almost any deal that is not 6% below invoice.

This brings me to my question. I am in line at a notorious 6% under dealership, actually they just posted 7% under with financing yesterday. Some of yall may know who I am referring to but for those who dont its Tri City in NC. Best part about it is it is the lowest priced in probably 400 miles and I am a local (WIN!). Sorry... to my real question... Is their demand going to be so high that my order will be delayed? Would I be better off going with another dealer who is only advertising 3% below with no destination fee right down the road? Not saying that I am in the biggest hurry but I sold my JKUR a few weeks back to start funding for mt JT. My wife on teh other hand is already tired of sharing a car.

Thoughts? Will demand be too high and delay my order at Tri? Should i Go with another Dealer? Or am i just new at this game and crazy? Jeep will make the truck around the same time and it will be delivered the same date regardless?

Thanks!

I was wondering this as well. I never even thought about getting on a list until I read about it here. I was planning on going into my local dealer and having a chat, though.

:(
When i was 13 i came home from school and a baby bunny was in the backyard, and i was surprised it didn't move when i walked onto the deck. I yelled at the bunny, still didn't move. I don't know why, but i felt the need to make this bunny move, so I picked up a 1/3 sized broken paver that was sitting on the deck and lobbed it like a basketball towards the baby bunny, just to scare it to move. Apparently i have some Larry Bird genes, because I hit the bunny from 15-20 feet away. The baby bunny hobbled away. I felt so bad. Got a cage and gave it food, water, milk and covered the cage overnight so it wouldn't freeze.............yeah, dead the next morning. Still feel bad to this day.

Now blowing a hole through a deer? Hell yeah!

Agreed. Let's please cut that out. Not cool.
i don't think the title was that misleading. I figured he had a question about when he orders his JT, lol.

Even if they're slammed with JT buyers, wouldn't you still be able to buy one, day one from them? Or would they be so busy, they can't even take your order?

I think that Jeep will roll out some predetermined spec’d trucks to get them in the hands of dealers first.
Those of us who order our trucks may not get them until August/September at the earliest so if your wife is tired of sharing her ride you may be SOL...
