What does pre-spec'd mean?

in another post I think you said its already built, but still will take 45 days to show up?

Means it was optioned out by FCA corporate, I, or any other dealer, had no input on how it was equipped.

This one is built already, but is still in transit. It’s some where between me and Ohio right now and it’s anyones guess as to where exactly it is at the moment

That's crazy that it can still take 45 days to go from Ohio to Iowa. I mean I know Fedex sucks and Illinois is boring to drive through, but jeez......lol

Really comes down to cost. Need to move stuff of that size in bulk to get some economies of scale, and that takes time. Sure they could move it faster, but it would be ALOT more expensive

Hey guys, just wanted you all to know that @spenchey is AWESOME! He helped me wrap my head around leasing one of these beauties today. A real asset to the community and a patient guy. For all of us Midwesterners, it appears they're THEE only dealer that knows we're looking for deals. I haven't committed to buying one yet, but its a real possibility!

Looks like the JT lift kit is available right now, slim inventory though (Thank you Jason). List price is $1,495 our price will be 10% off that, $1,345.50. MOPAR has not posted install guide on these yet so the labor time is still unknown, so i'll have to get back to you all when we see that.

So we could potentially add this to our order and have it installed and ready to go when we arrive?? I'm diggin it.... how much of a lift?

Yes. It’s a 2 inch lift by MOPAR

Yeah, that's kinda a slap in the face. Pure profit on top, they should just roll that into the base price. But then it looks worse. Some day the car will be $419 with a $45,000 destination charge. Lmao

People started doing that on ebay years ago to get around listing/final value fees. Sell a $50 item for $9.99 with a $60 shipping charge.

Just wanted to let everyone know we just took a deposit on our pre-spec'd sport S I posted the other day, pending final lease rate and residual when it shows up. If you are still interested in it let me know and you can have first dibs at it if for some reason the lease rate and residual change dramatically by the time this one shows up
