I drove by a dealer near home today, and they got two SILVER Overlands. I put a deposit on a white one yesterday at a different dealer that should be here in a few weeks (I hope)..

Trying to decide Silver One....has most options I want (missing Blue Tooth Speaker, Soft Top, and Bed Liner) or wait for the White one, which was the color I wanted.....

Can you buy the blue tooth speaker later? Also, do ALL overlands have the step? The Silver one has it.

They are sending me pricing now... and I may just buy it.... Not crazy about the color... but impulsivity is taking over!

I have a Bluetooth speaker that I paid about $35.00 for. It’s smaller that a Coke can. It goes into a cage on my bike so I can listen to tunes while I ride. Recharges too. Would take up zero space in a Gladiator. Am certain that you can find lots of other Bluetooth speakers out there for about the same amount of money, equally small as well. Any dealership can spray in bedliner for you. And why not think about the Bestop Sunrider?

Totally true. What do you think of White Vs Silver with the black 3 piece top?

Overland- Pretty much the same as the silver one. Only difference is the silver one has the rails in the bed.

I think that either one would look good. I would like the black top contrast.

There is a thread about the bedliner. Bottom line is use Linex. Similar price, better warranty, better results.

I agree with the comment about the speaker. Cool, but gimmicky. You can do better for cheaper. Same for the top.

Impulse purchases on extremely expensive vehicles rarely go well in that you end up spending too much. And if you are going to spend the cash, get the color you want!

Can add those on later as well. I vote white!
That’s actually a great question. I have wondered if you have to have the rails in order to mount the Jeep/Mopar hard trifold tonneau cover. And Jeep/Mopar has been rather silent about most all Mopar accessories for the Gladiator. So I can only suggest that you call your local Jeep dealership and speak to their parts department and ask them if they can order the bed rails. Also would not hurt to ask them if they could order the lock box that goes under the back seats. As you know you get the rails and the lock box along with a 110 power outlet in the bed when you order the trail rail system. Would be interesting to see if you order any of these separately from a Jeep parts department. I bet that right now they might not have any accessories in their system right now. Can’t hurt to ask em.

Well the parts will either be in the accessories catalog or the regular Illustrated Parts Bulletin (IPB) at some point. Might even be able to retro install the outlet. Just need to figure out what the part numbers are.

Just for the heck of it I called a local Jeep parts department and as expected they have almost zero information about anything related to the Gladiator, said they should have something by early next year (no kidding) because it’s a 2020 model. They did however have a listing for a tonneau cover (only $1300.00) and had no clue if it was a hard cover or a roll up cover or even a picture of it. None of this comes as any surprise to me since it is after all a totally new truck. Perhaps in a month or two Jeep may surprise us all by giving updates to the Jeep dealerships.

Mopar is suppose to release pricing of JT accessories 5/13, so maybe in a couple of weeks we'll have more info (definitely more than the dealer parts departments...).
