First post and glad to be here. Learned a lot about the purchasing process through all the threads. In retrospect, I knew very little and incorrectly assumed Launch inferred at Launch. I honestly do not like all the interior red accents but figured I'd get over it relatively quickly. I also wanted MTs and a soft top which isn't the end of the world. I guess I feel entitled enough to want what I want for the price we're all paying. LE Badge and Rubicon decals coming off Day 1.
Do we know what the timeline is for fully loaded custom orders? Curious to know before I nag the salesman at Jeep Southampton NY. May be worth canceling and subbing to a full spec 100% to my liking.
Thanks
Send me a private message if you are interested in selling the LE Badge.

@steffen707, I don't think you can vote in this poll that starts with "Who bought a LE..." if you didn't actually order a LE... ;)

I do think it’s weird the launch editions are not the launch editions .

Kinda let down they did that personally. I can wait but it’s a bit annoying seeing non launch edition JT’s prior to the launch edition .

Also, I feel like we have to wait and see how the Gobi and the Gator color looks on a real life Gladiator - I am just confused on how Gator color looked on one of those concept vehicles... Ideally, I will buy a second Gator Rubi in Diesel and keep that strictly for overlanding/off-roading and keep my Firecracker Red to just drive around town. I might even go with something cheaper than Rubi in Gator and then custom build my way up after weighing in what the costs/ROI will be, but I have a lot of time to decide

Welcome!
Welcome aboard!

You can add your info to the tracking spreadsheet and see how it matches with others who ordered around the same time you did. Non-Granite LEs are supposedly starting build in the next few days. If you don't have current status, you'll either have to hassle your dealer or Jeep concierge line to get it. Biggest unknown/variable is delivery time once it's built. Closer to Toledo you are the sooner you'll get it.

If you put a custom order in today, you may not get in front of LEs if they start building them next week.

I didn't know this thing existed, neat!

I always had the intention of having a dedicated Jeep/Truck for overlanding and off-roading into some trails. I am not really interested in "rock crawling" and such extreme off-roading... I just wasn't sure if the JT or the JL would be suited for that and looks like the JT is ideal with the extra space and the mods we can do. I have been lucky to have the discretionary income put away for this so I am going to make it happen :). Have two JTs - I might go the route of buying a basic Gator JT and do all the upgrades myself to customize it. And by the looks of it, I am going to have at least two years to put that plan together, cuz the Gator won't be out till the end of the year and the Diesel for at least another year, so looking at Jan/Feb 2021 for the Diesel Gator JT LOL

Thank you. One of my bucket list items is to drive the Dalton Highway in Alaska and hopefully I can drive the JT there on a cross-country trip, but only when I get a bit more experience with the truck and it gets the right mods...

tbh time never really factored into my decision making. I had been waiting for this truck for 2 years and almost pulled the trigger on the Taco TRD Pro, but as a previous TJ and GC owner I couldn't shake off the love for Jeeps LOL. I liked the fact that it was a special edition, but also was a bit underwhelmed on how there was nothing "huge" that made it so special - wheels, badge, some interior trim... I was hoping something more that made it a special edition but having said that I still don't have buyer's remorse or anything like that. I shall patiently wait to take the delivery of my Firecracker Red LE
I could not have said it better. I too almost went for the Taco TRD Pro. I'm ok with the wait, BUT, two weeks ago I totaled my Tundra. That sucks. So, I just bought a new 4Runner Limited. I'll still buy the LE when it gets here and it will probably be my daily driver.

Sorry to hear about your Tacoma - but the 4Runner is a beast in its own right if modded right altho I only looked at the 4Runner TRD Pro... I love the fact how it is just basic without a lot of gizmo electronics... LOL
Yeah, I plan to use my LE as a DD but I will be modding it for Overlanding too... I feel like you can do the mud trails without a lot of crazy mods unless you are into rock crawling which I am not and it is a monster by itself... I feel like the rock crawling hobby can get pretty $$.. I would like to take my LE and travel across the country - that's my goal.

Our goals are very similar. i want to add overlanding things to the LE but still have a fully optioned Rubi. I also wanted the TRD Pro in the 4Runner before the Gladiator came out. I'll use the 4Runner Limited for business trips and other trips that may call for something different than a truck or a Jeep. I'll probably rig my LE similar to the overlanding concept with a rack on the back with a RTT. Probably the iKamper. I will not be hitting the hard trails but I like the capabilities if I ever need them with the Rubicon.
