Hey Everyone,

While I await pulling the trigger on my build until my color comes out (Gobi or Gator),

I'm looking to see if anyone already owns a set of the armory/arsenal wheels with the sand on black color. I wanted to see how close to a color match it will be on a Gobi, or if it would look odd against a gator colored gladiator.

I'm hearing all the bolts on these wheels start rusting fast (and there are nearly 40 of them). I'd avoid this wheel or make certain to treat every single bolt.

Are you hearing this on the sand colored, or the wheel in general?

Black Rhino in general.....looking like their coatings need some work, and maybe their hardening process as they bend/dent too easy. It's sad as they have many really nice looking designs

The bolts are the main rusting issue. The bolts are black on either color of the wheel. I've also heard that the sand finish fades/diminishes. However, the main issue that is highly prevalent is the bolts rusting within weeks.

This is disappointing, as I've been looking at wheels for awhile now, and finally decided I wanted to order the armory. Back to the drawing board

You could clear coat or rustoleum the bolts. The painting on the wheels seems to be less common of an issue. If you're worried about it you could clear coat the wheel. Then can work but seems like a lot of work.

so apparently the bolts are not removable, making painting them or clear coat effectively impossible to do properly. From all of the reviews I read they do say that they rust super easily which is a deal breaker for me. Darn shame, best looking wheel out there IMO

Anyone know if these issues persisted?
