My truck was D1 for 10-11 days last I heard it was in "I" it won't be long for us now.

I can’t wait man. I went out and bought rims and tires. Made things worse because now I’m staring at these things and just wanting my pickup!!

Congrats and happy birthday ! I have been in D1 status for a week. Still no progress

I am just happy it is movement froward from D status. Good to know that it may be 10-11 days though before any other movement.

Alright, manual shifting question. This engine seems to rev a bit higher. Is the shifting point much higher as well?

Also, a dealer told me Saturday that you can't shift your manual transmission while in water or it will ruin the transmission. I thought that was a ridiculous oversight by the engineers if true. Is it true? Is the transmission just out in the open?

Shift points seems fine in the JL I test drove Manual.

The dealer is correct that you don't want to shift when the transmission is submerged as pushing the clutch in will suck water into the transmission. It wont kill the transmission if done once or out of necessity but it should be avoided as much as possible. I usually just cruise through water low and slow in second gear.

oh okay. that makes more sense now. I was thinking you couldn't even drive through water. Much better.

Body Color Hardtop or Trail Cam are my guess. I know the steel bumpers are on back order but haven't seen anything about any of the other options you have.
