Thinking I wasn’t told the truth

I ordered an Overland just by the window sticker on the dealership’s website. Awesome! With all the options I wanted and then some.
I’m wondering if I may have been lied to. I was told it’s in transit and would be here any day.
I’m starting to wonder if any day could mean months? Ugh.

If they have the window sticker then it should be in the shipped (KZ) Status. I think they are able to track its progress as well. As far as it being there any day now? that's out of their control, and there is no telling. Some on here have gone quick others not so much. Hoping yours is on the quicker side, Good luck!

You can go to the jeep site and build one similar. Hit the locate near me button. It will tell you what your dealers have and what's in transit. I bet you'll see that actual window sticker show up.

Sounds like my job. Was told last October that I'd be getting a promotion sooner rather than later. Still don't have that promotion so my understanding of the term sooner must be wrong.

Hmmm, I was in the same predicament but I'm in Cali which is a long way off from you in comparison to the factory. June 15th I put a down on an Overland that was in transit. Little info but a month later I have it!. It was on the ramp leaving the plant in mid May. Loaded on train May 19. Got to Mira Loma (L.A.) on Jul 1st and off loaded from the train on Jul 11th. A few years back that whole evolution took 10 days. So it appears that FCA and the transport are extremely slow.
If you have the window sticker and a VIN then it is transit to .... somewhere!

If you have a window sticker then your JT is somewhere between the factory and your dealer.

If there is a Window Sicker you technically did not order it—as everyone else stated—it’s built an in transit.

The dealer can call the FCA Zone rep if he chooses and get the exact location of the vehicle.

My dealer tracked mine several times down to a rail siding and he missed the truck drop at the dealership by 1 day.

Jeep chat “might” tell you it’s on a train but once it leaves the factory no one knows for sure when it will make to the dealer.

Know it gets loaded onto a train, gets dropped off at the transfer rail yard (can stay there for weeks) and then gets put onto a short hall truck to the dealer.

Be patient, this is worst part of the process, because no one knows when it will arrive.
