Went from a 2018 JLU Sahara with a lift, 35s, etc That I purchased brand new to a Gladiator Rubi with a lift, 35s. Always have the need for a truck bed, but never want to stray too far from a wrangler. It’s the perfect combo for me. Sure, I lose some covered storage space, but having the bed far makes up for it.

But you can get the lockable tonneau cover and you can store a lot more than the JL. My buddy has a modded JK and I can accommodate a lot more storage. Not to mention the hauling ability.

If I had a Wrangler, IMO, a move to the Gladiator would be a no-brainer. Best of both worlds.

Storage really can be optimized. I went with a lockable folding tonneau cover and molle panels for the bed. All my tools are on the molle panels, so, I still have an empty bed. Plus, you can have the top off and lock the bed when you leave.
