$300 doc fee, but that's pretty low from what I gather. I brought my own financing.Any caveats? Can you bring your own financing, etc.
I've seen as low as $0 (but that was only 2% under invoice), and as high as $375, but that being said, I could save that on my financing.$300 doc fee, but that's pretty low from what I gather. I brought my own financing.

Love the Sting color by the way. Makes me 2nd guess waiting for Gator.
And in turn, they saw your ass walk out the door lolI've seen $700 doc fees
Actually, the dealer I am going through is $799. Normally I wouldn't do it but they offered 6% below invoice. So my 4 or 5 hundred difference would be eaten up driving across the country to another dealer offering 5%. Being my local dealer I decided to just pony up to keep a good relationshipAnd in turn, they saw your ass walk out the door lol
So they just basically gave you 5%. I’d be cool with that setup if I didn’t have to travel cross countryActually, the dealer I am going through is $799. I'm thinking pretty much this. I grew up in Gaithersburg and still travel there from time to time so I would go through Criswell instead of some of the others on here but there would still be logistics and costs involved in getting the truck home to Florida. So for me it was at worst a wash and I feel like I have kept a bit of relationship up with the dealer I visit the most. Plus they offer a lifetime powertrain warranty on all of their vehicles so I figure that is hopefully worth something. So they just basically gave you 5%. That’s big to get the warranty. Also, did they charge you tax on the dealer fee? If not, it might not be that big an amount, but it could’ve actually indirectly saved you more. From what I understood sales tax is on the vehicle not the fees associated with it, so you’d save whatever sales tax is on 800 bucks in your state.I'm thinking pretty much this. Most of those dealers "Lifetime" warranties means you have to have all your scheduled maintenance done by them with very little to no exception. Need to read the fine print of what they are actually offering and will probably find it is pretty restrictive and leaves them room to weasel out actually paying any claim should the need arise.I'm thinking pretty much this. That is my normal feeling about this but I did talk for a little while to my guy and it seems that yes you do have to follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule but you can do the work yourself and keep all receipts. I still figure they may find a loophole in the event of a very costly repair. Most of those dealers "Lifetime" warranties means you have to have all your scheduled maintenance done by them with very little to no exception.
