That is my normal feeling about this but I did talk for a little while to my guy and it seems that yes you do have to follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule but you can do the work yourself and keep all receipts. I still figure they may find a loophole in the event of a very costly repair.

Devil is always in the details. Regardless of what your guy says, their contract language is going to rule the day. Going by your location, I assume the below link is what they are offering you. Does not give any room to do your own maintenance.

If me, I would not factor in any value to their "Lifetime Warranty" in my decision making process.

Yea, that is the one. Honestly I haven't bothered to check into it since I didn't give it much if any value to start. Just that it is there. I have had them do the last couple oil changes in my truck because it is only $15 to $20 more than me doing it myself and then I don't have to get rid of the oil.
I will have to ask him again about doing work myself since what the sales staff said and what the warranty says are 2 different things.

I also ordered from Tate Dodge in Glen Burnie back on 4/27. They were the first dealer to accept the Affiliate Pricing at 1% below invoice. Worked out well because they're only 10 min from my house.

Everyone was very helpful

The only issue I have is that I am still waiting since I ordered the steel bumper.
