I have installed the Sundrider Top and its awesome!

Directions are so easy to follow and the install is very simple.

Step 1 remove OEM panels
Step 2 install rails
Step 3 install top
Step 4 insert cable
Step 5 open/close to verify install
Step 6 enjoy it in its natural environment. lol

And I would like to take this time to say, stay tuned the build will start in September.

No way. The minutes you bolt in the last bolt you will begin to hate the panels. This mitigates the removal etc and because it’s so convenient you go topless more... or at least I do.

Do the freedoms panels necessitate the whole thing being removed again before they go back on?

Not sure which white part but yes if you want to go back to freedom panels for winter then yes the entire system has to be removed but this install is no more than 20min and that was first attempt. Learning curve prob 15min max.

Love ours on the JKU only thing that can make it a bitch to take all the way off is if you have a sunshade. trying to line up the freedom panel wingnuts that go thru the hardtop can be a pain to get lined up and thru the grommets on the sunshade.

It’s only 6 bolts to put it on or to take it off. I would say 5 minutes to do tops.

It looks like you can keep your grab handles, correct? Reviews on the site indicate no.

It doesn’t look like your Z clip is installed correctly. The roof panel should be flush with the rain gutter.
