Tire Fill Alert and Selectable Tire Fill Alert

Picked mine up Tuesday and I found the setting under Safety and Driver Assistance to turn it on, then I could set desired pressures in the app. Just used it to air down from factory 42 psi to 37. I have a Rubicon, built in September.

@JeepCares Can you find out if this is a computer revision that needs to be updated for the Rubicons that don't have it? I just was in the dealer for service and they said there weren't any new versions to be updated.

Hi Patrick,
For right now, a procedure has not been released to retrofit this feature onto early build Gladiator Rubicons. Feel free to check in for an update at a later date.

I could check in by sending a note on this thread every day or week until we get the answer but it might be more beneficial if Jeep Cares could have this on their to do list and when the procedures comes out, post a note on this thread for everyone to see. Is that possible?

Thanks Alex, Your persistence is much appreciated to all of the early buyers of the Gladiator. Obviously this issue is important to us all, and hopefully it will be put on a priority list. It wouldn't be quite fare for the early buyers of the product to be neglected because Jeep was not totally ready for delivery of their flagship vehicle. After all, we are the buyers putting cash on the line for this new and untested vehicle. Then the committed buyers put their Gladiators on the road first for the rest of the world to see. The STFA was advertised before the Launch was even available to purchase. Now months have passed and it appears the issue of updating the early models has also passed. As the saying goes "one good turn deserves another".

I picked mine up last Tuesday and when we went through the apps mine was selectable and the dealer said mine was the first one he was able to select and we were able to go through the options and select tire pressure. At the time it didn’t really sink in what this was so I just blew it off. Since then I have installed new wheels & tires and didn’t swap out my OEM sensors and I’m currently having TPMS issues however I’m curious if the sensors have to be specific to this option or if it’s the actual app that makes this possible. They are currently ordering me new OEM sensors to resolve my TPMS issue so now I’m wondering if this is why the Discount Tire sensors aren’t working.

Yes and the horn is loud when doing the front two...the TPMS are one pound greater than my pressure gauge...
