I just got the update. Actually, the dealer tried and failed a week ago. Then successfully made it happen today. Sounds like dealers just don’t know how to do this yet.

I had a weird issue with mine yesterday. After setting it to 32 PSI for my normal everyday driving, I did not drive my Gladiator for three days and got in it yesterday and the system reset the PSI back to 37. Presets were still there so I reset it again and will wait and see. Hopefully this is not a reoccurring thing.

Rubicon only.
Thank you. Well that's kinda crappy since its a $54k Overland with the 8.4" screen and it appears that it can be added via a software update. I could even see if I had a base model and/or I didn't have the Offroad Pages screen.

My gladiator was the first one to get the fill alert update for the Jeep dealership by my house. It didn’t go very smooth. When I was making my appointment for my first oil change, I told them I wanted to get the Selectable Tire Fill Alert done at the same time. The service advisory said to not worry about it, just tell them during the appointment.

I show up for my appointment on Tuesday morning and tell them about it and they say it’s no problem. I also ask about calibrating the speedometer and they said they would call me to tell me how much it costs. I leave and figure I would be getting a phone call....6:45pm comes around and I haven’t heard anything. I call the dealership and they have no idea about my car, but they would put a note one the service advisor’s desk to call be first thing in the morning.

Next morning nothing. I call at 11:00 and the service advisor said that the oil change and tire rotation are done, but the STFA is not done yet because it was the first one they are doing and it took over an hour for them to download it to their computers, but as soon as it’s done they will call me. An hour later I get a phone call asking where my lug nut key is. I stay calm on the phone, but I am pissed.... first they keep my car overnight without telling me and now I was lied to that the service was already completed when obviously it wasn’t.

I get another call that it’s all done. I go to pick up my truck and the STFA is not on the Uconnect. I tell the service advisor and they tell me there is no icon for it. I am now talking to two service advisors and they are both trying to convince me that it’s done. They pull up the full service bulletin and they tell me to watch a YouTube video.... in the video it shows the icon. I show them the picture and they start back tracking saying that the Uconnect takes 24 hours to update and it will be there tomorrow.

The second service advisor tells me they can call the corporate service center (I don’t remember the exact term) about it if it would make me feel better. I say that’s fine and I go take a seat. I text other one of the forum members here to see if his issue with got figured out and he tells me to not leave the deal ship until the icon is there, his is still not working. 20 minutes later the service advisors comes over and tells me that corporate service center had rejected the service request and that’s why it didn’t work. They say they will redo it and it will be done in two hours.

I get a call that it’s ready 2 hours later, but it would take an hour for it to work once I pick it up. I tell them that I will wait an hour before I show up, so it should be working. An hour later I show up and it’s still greyed out, but the icon is there. I was going to leave the truck at the dealership for them to figure it out, but figured it was no hope.

I take the truck home and start reading more about it and figure out that I have to enable it in setting. The next morning I try that and it works, kind of.

At this point it’s either user error or the program stinks....yet to be determined. I am able to set the desired pressure, but I am not sure how to get it to turn on... I programmed one of the presets to 36psi and the other to 15psi. Since my tires we’re all aired up to 39-42psi from the dealership (thanks), I click my preset for 36psi. I start to air down and I get down to 32psi and nothing. I grab my compressor and start pumping back up and now the hazard lights come on and it honked when I got up to 36psi. I attempt the same thing on the other 3 tires and nothing.

Am I doing something wrong?
