Thinking about making a new post about the sensors and making sure it gets turned on cause there are so many people selling their OEM wheels and tires that will be on here asking what’s wrong and yes I fully understand it may fall on some deaf ears.

Do it. If you do, add a link to it in this thread.

Awesome, nicely done. Thanks.

I had another thought on this today. Based on you experience, do you know if the spare wheel has the STFA sensor as well? Curious from a tire rotation perspective, 4 vs. 5.
My spare did not have the sensor, Discount Tire will be ordering me a sensor but I have no info or part numbers at this time.

The Rubicon JT I'm picking up tomorrow (9/26 build date) does not have it and does not list it on the window sticker. Odd how some with earlier build dates than this have it. The dealer is getting one in with a 10/1 build date that has it lists it as a single item in the "options" section of the window sticker rather than standard features like others have noted.

Yesterday I posted a question for JeepCares on a different thread. In case you missed it here is the link. They said they would investigate again...

Posted on the other thread above, but I bought these sensors from Ebay hoping to leave the original sensors in the stock. Says they are for the JT. Part #68464656AA. Anyone know it these will work before I mount up my new wheels with them. If not I'll return them.

This is the part number I was given by Jeep and it was cross referenced to my vin#
68464665AA, I can’t confirm if the ones you have listed will work with STFA. It’s my understanding (subject to change) the Rubicon receives STFA as a standard option.

So an online vin search said can confirm if this part fits my vehicle & my sticker says nothing about the TPMS system so now I'm really confused. I dont know if I should keep the sensors I bought on Ebay or send them back.

Just dug into the package and I think I'm good based on the part number you provided. I guess we will see when my JTR arrives if it has this option.

Sweet, those sensors will/should work with or without STFA. I have no idea what is or isn’t allowing STFA to be enabled/installed on these vehicles, I can only assume time will tell us what’s going on. When you get into looking for it just remember you have to turn it on so the app will be active. Early in this thread it explains how to do this.
