After hunting and being very patient, it paid off yesterday. I got the Gladiator in, options installed (i will be changing those tires out), and out the door quick and easy for a price I am very happy with. I love this truck, and I am very glad I waited for it and walked out on a purchase of a JL 8 months ago.

I race professionally off-road in Baja, Rally, WRC, and do quite a bit of automotive testing for all MFG's and after-market providers, including builds or options for SEMA. So this Gladiator though a personal ride for me will see a lot of dirt, baja prerunning, grocery getting, and options added or taken away overtime from sponsors, or aftermarket testing.

Picked it up yesterday from Johnson Auto in Brighton, CO. Great experience all the way from ordering, through build, to pick up. I already have appointments for windows tint and bed lining, with BRI bed racks and a tonneau cover waiting. Probably 35s and maybe a 2" lift in the near future.

Arrived today at the dealership around 3pm...

got the PDI finished and drove home @4pm now I have almost 200 miles on it 18.7mpg according to the gauge...

BTW it is only 8 miles to my house from the dealership...

Could not drive straight home and the grin is still hurts...

Took delivery today. Manual tranny is awesome, not sure why anybody would have any issues with it, very similar driving experience to our LJR. Great to add another Jeep to the family. Great experience with Monica Jaramillo at Larry H Miller Jeep in Albuquerque, look her up if you want a good deal!

Ha! Optical illusion...I was kneeling down a bit when I took the pic. My WK is a few inches taller than the JT so I know I have room. I'll probably start with 35's and run with that for a bit before putting on a lift.

I’m actually going the other way, I got the Mopar 2.5” kit. I’ll run the 33’s for a while. Then if all is well, I’ll upgrade to 35’s. GL with yours!
