Does anyone else have any spots under their paint protection film on the rear fenders? I purchased my JT on a rainy day and never noticed the spots until I detailed it about a week later. There is no damage to the film, it is smooth with no signs of impact.

I plan on taking it in, but was just wondering if this is a know problem.

I am so sorry to see this! When are you taking in your Gladiator? I would like to get a case open and escalated for you so that a case manager can get involved. Please feel free to send us a private message so we can look into this further for you.

To me it looks like contaminated junk under the paint protected piece they laid on the fender. Probably wasn't wiped off before applying it

Developing the same issue currently on my white overland on the passages side only. The spots color looks to be exactly the same. I'm not sure if you can remove the film, clean then replace a new film covering.

Thats what I was thinking but decided to just take it to the dealer and worst case ride without a fender for a week while they paint it. While its in there I will be having them look at some discoloration on the vinyl on one of the door handles and the slop in the steering box.
I go in on the 29th, I will update the first post after my appointment.

I have the same on both of my rear fenders, but not only under the film. On my fenders it appears to be under the clear coat.

I am going to hill kelly. I was contacted by jeep cares and they started a claim for me, so I am already in the system. Hopefully that will make things easier.

The discoloration was not in the paint, it was just the film. The dealership is replacing the film under warranty once it is no longer on backorder.
