Update:
-Went back to the dealer and said I found nothing about a 1 year 12k warranty, he asked other advisors and turns out he was wrong however that dealership does not have a body shop so they can't even do the warranty claim so they sent me to their other store that does have a body shop
-Get to the other dealer, meet the guy in charge of warranties and he is super helpful, agrees that is not normal but calls his manager over to take a look at it. The manager, not pleasant, agrees there is a problem but says he's busy so he only takes in cars that were purchased at the dealership, I told him I am fine with waiting a while to actually have it fixed, I just want to document it before my warranty expires. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't even want to do the documentation paperwork and why did I wait so long. After he left the original guy I was talking to apologized and said he will see what he can do but I may want to go to a different dealer in the meantime
-3rd dealership, a lot friendly but say the paint fade is tough to get covered under warranty but also acknowledges it is really bad, however as we were looking at it, I pointed out some corrosion on the hood hinges and on the hood by the hood hinges, that apparently is a lot easier to get warrantied and its for 5 years and also requires the hood and hinges to be repainted, decided to go that route.

Not fully resolved as my appointment isn't until January to come back and get it taken care of and at that point Chrysler needs to sign off on the repair but hopefully in the right direction.
What was your outcome on this?
I have noticed fading of the paint on the hood and front fenders on mine.

Hi there. If you haven't already, the first step here would be to visit a certified Jeep dealership for diagnosis. If any repairs are being made, or you need an extra layer of support while there, let us know.

My wiper cowling is very faded (almost gray) and the Rubicon plastic hood vents are fading. I am still under the factory warranty. Did you determine if they are covered under warranty or not? I know I can stain them, buy painted ones, or have them painted, but geez 2 years in and they look 10 years old.

My '22 is the same. Wiper cowl looks 20 years old.

I have some Cerakote back to black wipes I'm going to use on the truck soon that worked great on my JK - but it shouldn't have to be that way.

They did not do anything about my faded paint, but they did replace my bumper cover and wiper cowling under warranty. The new ones are beginning to fade again.

Thanks. It is going in for the High Pressure Fuel recall. I will tell them to replace it. Once out of warranty I know there is a company that sells painted ones. Why they did not just paint them on the higher end models is beyond me. I think the High Altitude had them painted.
