Nice pics and nice trip Greg. Anytime you want someone to do a fall colors trip with you (or any other trip really), just let me know. I'm waiting to see what the diesel numbers look like, but my JKUR sees a lot of trail and overland action.

Thanks for the great trip report!
We were in Colorado in June and it was amazing how much snow was still in the mountains. In fact, we wanted to run the Alpine Loop but the Ranger said it was closed as some parts still had over 100 feet of snow on them!

He did tell us that Hurricane Pass had just opened up so we thought why not take our F-350 with our camper up there!
You should have seen the people asking how the hell we were able to get up there!

Now that I have the Gladiator I will definitely be going back!

Yep, in the Ouray area you can't count on all the trails being open until about 2nd week of July and they will start to close some in mid to late Sept some years as well. It's a great area though. That is a cool pic you have of the F-350. I've wanted to go early in the season just to grab a shot like that, but never do becuase I want to run all the trails. lol
