Hello all,
Doing some light upgrading and need some help!
Have a Gladiator Rubicon with halogen lights.

Bought some cheap headlights from Amazon, a lot of members on the JL forum have used similar with good luck.
These cost 215. and I don't have 500 to shell out for Oracle or more for stock.
FieryRed 9 inch LED Headlight.

Questions:
-Do I need to flash or tazer or whatever? Most what I read says plug n play so I'm hoping no?
Has anybody installed similar lights without doing Tazer etc and worked ok???
Don't really have another $300 for this

-I want the halo's on at all times.
My current lights on fenders are that way, the headlight switch can be off or on auto and the lights on my fenders are always on.
Have read different ways of doing this but want simplest and rather not tap into any existing wires.
I've read run a wire to the fuse box and use the heated seat spot etc, but is there one for the fender lights that I could go to?
I also have the accessory package, and wouldn't mind using that, but would rather not have to hit the switch every time.

On a separate note, I would like to change those fender lights at some point soon but want to make sure this goes good first.
There are quite a few on amazon or Quake sells some, really like the sequential type, most in the $200 range.
Anyone use any of these? Same question if I would need tazer etc

Thanks!!

I received and mostly installed my headlights. Will post pics if I get it finished!

So the headlights were 100 % plug n play. Super easy and work with no issues, No tazer etc needed.

I am stuck a bit on wiring the halos.
I am connecting to one of my aux switches.
Question is, should i be grounding this wire also?

It is currently hooked up and working without a ground connected, but I want to do what's right.
I first tried with a ground, and I blew a fuse for the aux 3 i'm using.
Not sure if I hit something or shouldn't be using a ground or what caused that, any ideas??

Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks!!

sounds like you got it.. you should be able to just hook the halos to a aux switch like you did . they should work like that with the aux switch no problem.... no ground needed just 12 v for the halos ... you may need a tazer if you install led drl/turn signals... i installed some factory led turn signals / drl and they would not work correctly until i changed the setting in the computer to LED with the tazer then they worked perfect.. i did first just install led bulbs in the halogen housing and that worked fine with out programming with the tazer... all the other lights seemed to work with out changing the setting to LED although i did with the tazer once i got one ... i would suggest getting a tazer when you can... well worth it you can do a lot with it.. good luck !

Here's a couple pics.
All hooked up!
I am concerned they may be a little flickering on low beams, will see tonight.
Halo's look pretty good imo.
Hooked up to AUX 3 and have set to always stay on.
Easiest way for me and I still have 3 aux for whatever.

Also installed the under the sun grill insert, double sided so I can switch when I get bored.
