Any steps/rails should work. I have 4 boys with the oldest being 11. When my youngest was 3 he was easily jumping in my wife's JLU with a 4" lift and 40s. She had Roam rails that don't drop down very far, but work great for all of them.

I currently have no steps on my 4.5" lifted Gladiator and only my two oldest two can get in without assistance.

I have had the Nfab steps on my last wrangler and this gladiator. From 3 they’ve been able to climb in even with a lift

Dog ramp to the bed and put some insulated kennels securely fastened to the bed frame.

Done.

I bought the RSE power steps and have been very happy with them. I have the Mopar 2 inch lift and 35's. The steps automatically deploy and retract and are lit to help when it is dark. They were a little pricey but they have been a great investment. When they retract they are out of the way for off-roading and when deployed they come down a full 12 inches for perfect accessibility.

So are you saying that when the step is extended the distance from the ground to the step is one foot?

I just measured it and it is 13 inches from the ground when deployed, and 24 inches to the next step from the ground. When retracted it is 19 inches from the ground to the rock slider. Remember that I am running 35's with a 2 inch lift.

I ordered the ace engineering rock sliders and some paracord. It seems like the Ace engineering sliders are a favorite around here. I’m going to use the paracord to put a handle somewhere just not sure where yet.
Has anyone seen seats that go in the bed. I thought I remember seeing some several years ago. I wouldn’t use them but I’m wondering if anyone has.

Ace's rockslider looks like it would work well but it doesn't address the height of the vehicle. Your first step would be 2 feet tall.

Got one of these for Christmas until I decide what step/running board I’m going to get. Cost less than $15

I have this exact thing, if folds up nice and you can put it behind the back seat.
