For those people that have larger tires but also have laws against tire poke. Is there a solution that doesn't require a ghetto looking DIY or full replacement?

I recall seeing a fender flare advertised on facebook, can't seem to find it now but it was super overpriced ($750)

Once I take delivery on my JT I want to swap over my 35's and I've already been verbally warned about tire poke on my current JK.

I wish that these laws, where they exist, would be enforced more often. This and headlight violations such as improperly aimed LEDs and driving with your high beams on.

I do agree that most of the aftermarket flares look rigged since they do not match the geometry of the vehicle. That said, I do think a tiered approach to widening the flares, like those linked below, looks better than a full-out widened flare. Looking forward to see what products others propose.

Yea those are the ones I was talking about.

Of the flares I've seen, these should work perfect but the price seems really steep. I should be taking ownership of my JT in about 1-2 months and I would like to swap my 35s on right away. At the same time, I would like to stay legal since my city has been handing out violations for these kinda things.

Assuming the advertised price is in Australian $ (company is in Melbourne), the actual cost is closer to $500 US. Still pricey, but they look like they belong on the vehicle and not a cheap add-on. Might give them a try. I've got 35's on Black Rhino Abrams wheels that stick out pretty far.

Exchanged emails with the vendor today (Double Black Offroad), and they acknowledged that the extensions they currently are selling DO NOT fit the Gladiator, although they expect to have compatible ones available in a couple months.

Thanks for the info =)

$800 AUD is about $700 CDN which is not great lol

Also I'm sure the shipping will require lots of lube.

Let’s hope a local company picks up this idea and sells them for a more realistic and reasonable price.

Once we get the Gladiator here in Aus we will be making them for sure. FYI these fenders do not suit the US spec fender as they are different to what we receive unfortunately.
Great info, Thanks for sharing. Sadly the search continues
