I don't really see a lot of the JT on the road around Houston. It kind of comes in spurts when I see one every now and then on my commute but have to say even with a ton of cars and trucks on the road they have a very big road presence. Its like all the cars and you see one on the road and immediately you know what it is and it stands out. There are a ton of jeeps on the road but I guess they just don't have that eye pull like the JT does. Kinda cool being the odd duck in the pond.

I'll quack to that. Not to mention when you see another one on the road, and even in CO where 1 out of 10 cars is a Wrangler I spot a Gladi from 1/3 mile away. Generally do big smile and thumbs-up if they spot me back. Sales numbers be damned, the rareness is fun.

I’m in Houston also and agree. Go days without seeing one then when you do it’s a freeway party of lights, waves, and or convoying

There are two that I see on a somewhat regular basis up here in Spring, a red Rubi and a white Sport. The Rubi lives somewhere in my neighborhood I think, and the Sport belongs to a kid at my son's high school.

A couple of weeks ago (the 14th) we drove to Indiana - saw one on the west side of Illinois, that was it. Never saw another. In fact, that's the only one I've seen in the last month. Didn't see any all the way from Iowa to Fort Wayne and back other than that one. That's 8 hours there, 8 hours back, only saw one JT. And I've not seen one otherwise in the last month. Wow.

I have seen 2 others in town. In central Illinois most of the ones I see are on dealership lots. Over the holidays drove 650 miles each way to northern MN. I recall seeing 1 on the road.

Back in Feb 2007 I bought what was then a rather strange beast: A four door Wrangler. And a year later drove it from OKC to Moab for EJS. And during the drive I saw no other four doors until I got near to Moab. Couple weeks ago drove from OKC, out to southern AZ (including the El Camino del Diablo from Ajo to Yuma), then out to San Diego, and back. And during all of that I saw three Gladiators other than mine and the other one that was on ECdD with me. It's a new vehicle. Folks come up to me and inquire about how I like it routinely (sometimes because they recognize me from my YT channel, LOL). It's new. Those looking at sales numbers compared to well-established vehicles are misreading the tea leaves. Give it time.

My post was not in regard to any sales figures, etc but rather that the Gladiator has well a Gladiator presence on the road. When you see one you notice it and it stands out in the crowd

It is interesting that I don't see more on the road. Two trips from Iowa to Colorado last year and saw one other Gladiator on the road. Just finished a trip from Iowa to Central Texas, none on the way down and on the way back saw two in Waco and one near Denton. I would have thought I'd see more.

Funny you say that. I live 20 mins away from you in Sioux City and see 5 on a regular basis: 2 billet silver Rubicons (I think one might be an LE), a firecracker Rubicon with a JCR rack covered in Rotopaks, a bright white Sport S, and my neighbor's new hydro blue Sport S.

Yep, I see more locally than on those trips to metropolitan areas! I think there are at least three other than mine in Le Mars that I've seen driving.

My wife has relatives in LaPorte and Dear park. Such a nice area of Texas. I work at Exxon BR And they have a Gator Jt running around out here. I haven't caught up with them yet but I look forward to meeting them.

So, in my neighborhood of say 100 homes, there are 3 with JTs. One is a white Sport S with black hard top roof, a Red Sport S with a black hard top roof, and My Gobi Rubicon with Gobi colored hard top. I see others at least a couple of times a week in our small city of 150,000 people. There are 3 dealers within 15 miles of each other here each has at least 5 on the lot. So, I am reasonably sure there are dozens if not a 100 here in the metropolitan area.
