I’d like to have some higher fenders like the rubicons... any cost effective upgrades to achieve this or something better than stock.

Find Rubicon take offs?
Or use your existing fenders and do a high line fender chop with a company like Quake or American Adventure Lab and the like?

I'll sell you mine (rubicon) once I get my metalcloak fenders in and installed if you want.

At what point in lift/tire size are different fenders needed?
I would imagine that depends on what you plan to do WITH the jeep. You could replace the fenders for more clearance for bigger tires with zero lift. Or if you've got a super flexy kit like the RKs or the MCs you can replace em to get a few more inches of tuck.

Let me know when you get your new fenders. I'm about an hour and a half away from you and may be interested depending on the timing.

will do! Fenders should be in Monday, and hopefully I'll have time to install them next weekend.

You don't need anything else do you? Rubicon LE wheels and tires? Rubicon axles etc..?

Nah...I've got the axles already with the Max Tow pkg and have a lift/wheels/tires. I am going to make the leap from 37's to 40's and could use the fenders. I was gonna meet up with HTXGladiator but ky damn dryer went out and had to buy a new set. I'm still up in the air about whether to get the high rise fenders or do the fender chop on mine.

I have the front MC fenders on my gladiator currently. Love them, and waiting for warmer weather to put the rears on. I have MC fenders on my other two jeeps. Can't say enough great things about them.

I've had my front fenders off for a week now, waiting on a 17/32" drill bit so i can install the metalcloaks! haha. apparently nobody just carries that size in store.
