Overland jeep nameplates diff color?

Anyone else notice that the fender name plates on the Overland models look chrome while the Tailgate is Silver? Do they make silver nameplates for the fenders?

I don’t like the silver fender emblems on my overland. Looking at decals to cover them up, maybe a matching set with the tailgate.

I did exactly that. And I removed my Overland emblem and plastidipped my trail rated badge black. I would have plastidipped the Overland emblem, but I’m not a fan of asymmetry. I’ll figure out something to do with it, I do like it. I’ve thought about buying another one and putting it where the Gladiator decals are. After removing the Gladiator decals...

Thank you. I think it changes the look and the stickers aren’t very expensive. I think it was roughly $50 for all three. The Jeep on the sides and the tailgate. I already had the plastidip.

I believe he’s talking about the Jeep badges located Between the front fenders and front doors. I also plasti dipped those. Didn’t like the silver badges.

Oh. I thought he was saying there are "OVERLAND" badges on the fenders.

What did you use to remove Overland badge on tailgate? Like the clean look

What did you use to remove?

Heat them up a bit with a heat gun or hair dryer and then use some floss or fishing line to alice behind them. Then I used a whizzy wheel to remove the residue.
