You can pull the carrier by removing the top cap on the spindle, removing the spindle nut, and pulling the carrier off the spindle with everything attached. We'd recommend wrapping the spindle in something waterproof so it didn't rust when naked, however. Also, you'd certainly want a quick release for the wiring near the hinge as well.
Nevermind removing the carriers - can they be locked in the 90deg open position to allow hauling long cargo and will that be an issue with weight in that position?

locking carriers at 90 deg would be a nice option too.

This puts a lot of strain on the bumper with the weight of a tire and accessories in that direction. Not really recommended.

Yes on the camera relocation. Before spring for sure on the bumper.

yep I have one from factory with a Mopar roll up.
Any photos?

Here’s mine. Judging by how the rack mounts vs the roll up covering the entire top rail, I'm going to say it won't work.

Nope, will not work with that. We need access to the top of the bed rails.

Mopar has a rollup? We've seen the hard and soft tri-folds. It will not work with either of those.
Sorry to ask again....so, it won’t work with the Mopar hard tri-fold cover that I have?

I keep hoping they will reply with Yup we now have an adapter. There are a couple other companies that have U shaped adapters the racks sit on top of to clear the cover.

Can you let me know which companies? And, will it work?
You’re in the same boat as me. Lol

We won't be making that adapter because we really don't like the loads that a bed rack places on the bracket or the bolts when it's full of gear. The feet of our rack sitting on the bed rails adds a ton of strength.
