Gosh, my first post in a LONG time. Figured you guys will like this!!

I spotted these on eBay last month. Only sellers were out of China but for $33 I decided to pull the trigger to see what I got. I am SUPER impressed by this toy! It's almost like the real thing! Almost all metal too. In one pic I included the Hot Wheels version for size comparison. This one's about the size of a 16oz beer can.

1) Four doors can open
2) Engine cover can open
3) Front wheels turn left and right
4) Tailgate can lay down
5) Wheels have independent suspension
6) Horn sounds and headlights flash by opening the front doors
7) Rubber tires + a spare tire underneath
8) Not sure if the top comes off, but I don't want to risk breaking it ;)

I'm sure these will make their way to U.S. store shelves at some point, but head on over to eBay to snatch one up now. Looks like they come in red, blue and black.

I ordered one of these after initially seeing this thread. It is a surprisingly decent model. Anyone know what battery it takes? Mine didn't come with any.

Yep, it takes three AG13's. The small button type.

Since Iā€™m clearly dumb, where do the batteries go? I swear Iā€™ve looked it over and canā€™t find it

Thanks for that, will have to procure some of those.

I've noticed a few funny inconsistencies with the model. It has a Rubicon decal, Rubicon front fender height, and hood, but has characteristics of a few other trims (I think)
1) Appears to have the plastic "filler" piece between the front fender and front bumper (I think this is found only on the Sport in the US but may be standard on international trucks?).
2) Has street tires like an Overland or Sport where AT's are optional.
3) Wheels appear to be from the Sport trim
4) Running Boards look like my Overland's

I don't mind any of these at all, espescially since it makes the truck look closer to my actual Overland spec, just thought it was kindof funny. Great model for the $.

Am I wrong on any of the inconsistencies, or are there others I may have missed?

I got one of these in black earlier this week for $18.99. The one I got has 2 dirtbikes for the bed but the rack came uninstalled so I glued it in. Description said they couldn't mail the batteries from China, so I bought the batteries ahead of time.

It came in less than two weeks with the batteris. Overall it's a pretty nice likeness, but the dirtbikes are rather chintzy. The cab and under the hood have little detail.

Yes one small Phillips head screw behind the front wheels to take off the cover.

How do you turn the lights on and beep the horn? I have one and canā€™t figure it out.

It has batteries in it! Thatā€™s not the point. I donā€™t know how to beep the horn or turn the lights on.
