Did you just call me a bad shot? But then you'll have holes in your door and maybe the seat, too.
Oh, you meant the bullet deflection caused by the gravitational pull of the fob, right?

What do you do if you're parked somewhere and when you return to your jeep, someone is sitting in the driver's seat. If you get too close, they will be able to start it and drive away.
Throw my giant Jeep fob at their head. What do you do when you get home and you find someone in your house?

Seriously man, do I always have to be the one here with all the answers?
I'm in the engineering consulting business. We charge extra for correct answers. My answers are always correct, but only if you asked the right question.
Usually I say"Hi honey, how was your day?"What do you do when you get home and you find someone in your house?
For those that doupt this, sit in the driver's seat with the fob in your left hand and see how far away you can hold the fob and still start. Mine won't start fully extended, but it will start with the fob outside the perimeter of the vehicle. What do you do if you're parked somewhere and when you return to your jeep, someone is sitting in the driver's seat. I apologize in advance for any meaningful information I provide.Hi Jerry, it's great to have you post here in the Key Fob Follies thread. I only hope this thread is as entertaining as your DSS threads are educational.
I didn't accuse you of providing meaningful information. Educational and informative (and helpful) but meaningful?I apologize in advance for any meaningful information I provide.
I was posting fob information before I posted ESS information.Hi Jerry, it's great to have you post here in the Key Fob Follies thread. I only hope this thread is as entertaining as your DSS threads are educational.
I did notice that I can remote start my JT much further away than my JK.Remote start range is at least doubled over my Wranglers. I've never tested the unlock range, that doesn't seem useful in any way (being far and unlocking). Either way, as Martin said, I don't really care. It doesn't create a problem.
Another thing that creates size is ruggedness. It think you could drive over this fob.
See, this is part of the list of little things I totally forget about. Same here, I'm forgetful. Hard to pop the metal key out of the ignition on the freeway and unlock the console to reach something.I do like having the push button start in the JT.
If I forget to unlock my console and glovebox after I start driving, I can unlock it without having to stop and shut the Jeep off. I do that a lot when the doors are off.
So, you're actually believing he's touched a woman, and not just talking to his inflatable doll?Hi Jerry, it's great to have you post here in the Key Fob Follies thread. I only hope this thread is as entertaining as your DSS threads are educational.
