Went for a little trail with the kiddo yesterday in Canaveral groves (Cocoa Florida ). We came up on a mud hole that I have crossed 100's of times. Well this time it was a bit deeper. As I roll through the point at which I normally start climbing out my hood briefly dissapeared. Needless to say a definite oh s*i* moment. But all is well no water in airbox etc...Anyways has anyone else had a what have I done moment lately?

D@#n...that would have definitely been a "clean your pants out" moment for me! Glad it turned out okay and speaks well of the truck's resilience. Good for you!

Yeah I was definitely second guessing my decision to "go for a quick ride " there for a second

Lessons learned though! You’ll always test the depth of those water holes next time before going in!
Yeah for sure. Our trails around here are constantly changing with the amount of rain we have had this year. Definitely going to check next time haha.

Wasn't that the smallest of MN's 10,000 lakes?

You might try a snorkel next time you go fishing, or a boat - that air box looks to be only inches out of that water from here.

Sometimes all’s it takes is a couple of inches...

Yeah, it was close. It had rained heavily the night before we got there. There were puddles everywhere and we drove through probably 15+ before this one. It looked like all the other ones we went through but apparently there was a random 3 foot hole in the middle of that one.

One of those hole in the groves is called "The Black Hole" that reason being, will swallow a lifted truck with ease!

Get your time in there, I heard there going to close it all up "imminent domain"
