I installed Rubi front springs, Rubi front shocks and a Teraflex 1.5” leveler on my Max Tow today without doing anything to the back.

As best as I can tell, I got 2.5” of lift. Maybe even a tad more. But even after all that, me truck is now just level. Maybe even a tiny bit of rake left.

Needless to say, I’m surprised. I still have a .75” leveler to add to the back at some point. And of course the rear Rubi shocks. But in the meantime, I’ve got no rear squat.

I even went outside just now to re-check to make sure I installed to right shocks.

Hmmnmm..... surprised?
It's a truck
It's made for payload and towing
Trucks that are intended to carry any real weight will have some rake.
Otherwise you are coon hunting with your headlights when you put 1600 pounds in the bed or hook up a 7,000 pound trailer.

My F250 had some pretty good rake - and when I put 2300 pounds in the back it sat level and rode more like a Lincoln than a 3/4 ton 4x4.

It really shouldn't surprise you at all.

I guess I should qualify my statement... I thought it had precisely 2” of rake from a previous measurement. I also expected a 1.5” leveler to get it pretty close to level. Those were both wrong. Thus, my surprise.

I will probably still eventually add the .75” levelers in the back to add some more rake back in case I do any hauling/towing.
